We’re excited to announce that Mimic Minds has officially joined the MediaTech Hub Potsdam Accelerator - one of Europe’s leading ecosystems for media innovation.
Over the coming months, we’ll be working closely within this network of industry leaders, startups, and partners - accelerating the development of our platform while continuing to refine how AI-powered avatars can be deployed across media, gaming and interactive experiences.
A strong start in Studio Babelsberg
Mimic Minds is now based directly on the grounds of Studio Babelsberg - one of the most iconic film production environments in the world, known for driving innovation across film and technology.
This is the birthplace of cinematic milestones like Metropolis - a film that, even a century later, continues to shape how we imagine the relationship between humans and technology.
For a company like Mimic, with deep roots in digital humans, VFX, and cinematic production, this is more than just an office. It’s an environment where storytelling, technology, and innovation naturally come together.

Mimic Minds builds on the digital human and production expertise of Mimic Productions - evolving it into a platform for AI-driven characters at scale.(Avatar-as -a - Service)
At the center of this is our Character Creator. Unlike traditional pipelines that focus primarily on visual output, Character Creator is designed to define the full identity of a digital being - how it looks, how it speaks, how it behaves, and how it interacts in real time. By combining 3D character creation, conversational AI, and real-time animation, we’re enabling a new generation of AI avatars and intelligent NPCs that feel consistent, expressive, and purpose-driven.
This marks a shift from content to characters. For decades, media and entertainment have been built around static assets and scripted experiences. What we’re now seeing is the emergence of persistent digital characters - entities that can exist across platforms, evolve over time, and interact directly with audiences.

We’ll also be participating in a range of industry events, showcases, and conversations, where we’ll be demonstrating the technology, sharing insights, and continuing to refine our direction through real-world feedback.
As we scale, we are also opening conversations with investors who share our vision - building the infrastructure for the next generation of AI-driven characters and interactive experiences.
